I love the color scheme on this little guy. One of my favorite things is how you kept the horns/claws the same color, but didn't make the wings that color, too. I feel like a lot of people (myself included) go "This is the color for horns and claws and thus wings", so it's nice to see something different. I've got to ask, did you glaze/seal the wings? They look so shiny, although it could just be the lighting. I also feel like only having the scales on his main body really helped the design--that adorable face might have lost its expression. It also looks natural, too, not like you just suddenly lost the patience with scales, so that's another huge plus. I think the spines down the back and the spikes on the tail are two of my favorite parts on this guy. They're cool little details that really add to his personality. Lovely work!

Thanks so much for the lovely response! I'm glad you liked all the details and color scheme!

The wings actually gave me so much trouble, and I still don't quite like how they look - despite setting my pasta machine on the thinnest setting, and using a ton of transparent clay it still stayed opaque :| They are glazed though, which I thought helped out quite a bit.

Thanks again <3
